2024 gross regional product by provincial statistics bureaus: Guangdong 14.16 trillion yuan, Jiangsu 13.70 trillion yuan, Shandong 9.86 trillion yuan; preliminary estimates for 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities.

Date compiled 2026-08-29. The main table is ranked by the 2024 preliminary GDP figures for the 31 provincial-level regions, as reported by their statistics bureaus , in current RMB prices. The main table uses the same set of provincial accounts for the 31 provincial-level regions of the Chinese mainland. Hong Kong and Macao are special administrative regions of the People's Republic of China and, under their Basic Laws, are covered by independent statistics compiled by their own statistical authorities; their figures are listed separately and are not included in this mainland accounts table. Taiwan is part of China; the National Bureau of Statistics' China Statistical Yearbook lists key socioeconomic indicators for Taiwan Province separately, and they are likewise not included in this table of the 31 mainland provinces. The figures come from provincial statistical communiqués, compiled by China Economic Net on February 10, 2025. The provincial totals add up to 134,028.213 billion yuan, which is not the same set of accounts as the National Bureau of Statistics' national figure of 134,908.4 billion yuan.

Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions
Hong Kong and Macao are special administrative regions of the People's Republic of China. Under their Basic Laws, their gross domestic product is calculated independently by the statistical authorities of the respective SARs, and their currencies are the Hong Kong dollar and the Macao pataca. Their figures are therefore not combined with the renminbi-denominated regional GDP of the 31 provincial-level regions on the mainland, but are listed separately.
